Phoenix Restoration Volunteers with Food for Thought, Preparing 211 Meals for Dare County Students

On November 13th, members of the Phoenix Restoration team stepped away from job sites and into the kitchen—volunteering with Food for Thought, a local nonprofit dedicated to fighting childhood hunger in Dare County. Together with other volunteers, our team helped prepare 211 meals for students who rely on these essential weekend food packs.
Food for Thought’s mission is simple but powerful: ensure that every child in Dare County has access to nutritious meals, no matter their circumstances. Spending the morning assembling bags, sorting ingredients, and working alongside the organization’s dedicated staff was a meaningful reminder of how small acts of service can make a big difference in our community.
